Making A Difference Foundation To Host Turkey Giveaway In Tacoma

The Making A Difference Foundation (MADF) recently announced that the Eloise’s Cooking Pot (ECP) Food Bank in Tacoma will be giving away turkeys to those in need for Thanksgiving. The event will take place this Weds., Nov. 20 at the food bank location located on Tacoma’s eastside. The ECP Food Bank will be open special on this day to give out the turkeys for free to ensure families will have the food they need for the holiday.

Eloise’s Cooking Pot continues to serve Tacoma and other Pierce County communities with needed food and other items six days a week during varied hours at the on-site location and with home delivery service.

The MADF and its President and Founder, Ahndrea Blue, continue to focus on the mission to make a difference in the lives of others, one person at a time, by helping them acquire the most basic human needs: food, housing, encouragement, and opportunity.

“We understand in normal times how challenging it can be to meet the basic needs of ourselves and our families. Holidays can be an overwhelming time for many people, and when you don’t have enough food and other necessities it’s even worse,” said Blue. “We want to help people who are struggling to put food on the table at this time of the year – and everyday – have what they need to make this Thanksgiving a joyous one.”
