Part of an ongoing effort to support local, small businesses throughout the Greater Seattle Area, Business Impact NW, a local non-profit organization that provides coaching, classes, and access to capital to small businesses, presents for the first time a holiday pop-up event on Weds., Dec. 14 at 1505 5th Avenue from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
This event is to celebrate local business owners who completed the Small Business Digital Accelerator Program, which supports entrepreneurs across WA. This is a chance for attendees to holiday shop and fill their bellies with food and drink specials, all while networking with local business leaders and advocates as the holiday season approaches.
“Whether you are looking for sustainable footwear, eco-conscious skincare or wellness products, sportswear apparel or handmade gifts, there is something for every family member and friend,” says Joe Sky-Tucker, CEO of Business Impact NW.
Omini Sportswear founder Michael Okoro believes small businesses are the foundation for communities, and says that this is a great event to support small businesses and the community at the same time.
”[Small businesses] need local support to grow and thrive, hire more people, make more sales, and positively impact a city,” says Okoro.
Jordan Clark, founder of the stylish & sustainable house shoe company, Dooeys, will be selling her products and can share her recent experience on Fox’s ‘Billion Dollar Idea’ TV show, and give advice to others.
This free to attend event is made possible with the support of Amazon, City of Seattle, Small Business Administration, Seattle Restored and KD Hall Communications.
Amazon is committed to investing in small business success through logistics, services, tools, and programs such as the Small Business Digital Accelerator. Amazon’s support allows these businesses to scale and connect with more customers, establish and build their brands, create jobs in their communities and pursue their business ambitions.
