This summary provides streamlined key information on specific local, regional, and national scholarship opportunities for college-bound students. According to principal editor James B. Smith, Ph.D., the Guide includes information on scholarship opportunities from Blacks in Government, The Urban League, The LINKS, Microsoft, and the Mount Baker Community Club (Martin Luther King Jr. Fund). Also included is application information for young men who are interested in the Zeta Pi Lambda C P Johnson and Herbert L. Starke scholarship awards.From its inception on the campus of Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, in 1906, Alpha Phi Alpha has been in the forefront of the demand for quality education for African Americans and others.
