Grid Iron Defeats Heir To Win NWPJFL 14U Championship

Grid Iron 38, Heir 18
Top seeded Grid Iron and Heir found themselves competing against each other one last time for the 2022 Northwest Premier Junior Football League’s 14U championship. Earlier in the season, Heir escaped with a 24-20 victory, and now the opportunity had arrived for Grid Iron to avenge that early season loss.
Grid Iron’s defense, led by Sirjewel Glover, who recorded two interceptions on the evening, was able to hold Heir to under 20 points for the first time all season.
Offensively, Glover also led the way for Grid Iron with two touchdowns, and was named most valuable player as Grid Iron won 38-18 to hand Heir their first and only loss the season.
