NW Premier 9U Scores & Highlights 10-13-21

ICE Academy 38
Renton Rangers 0
ICE Academy ran rampant through the Renton defense this weekend. The Rangers will look to bounce back in their upcoming game.

5 Star Cougars 13
Jr. Huskies (8U) 7
In a crossover matchup the Jr. Huskies 8U took on 5 Star’s 9U. This matchup had action packed plays all game long, with the Huskies offense starting heavy on the ground game. Ka’lan Simonton, Jr. and Makahi Jackson had two big runs setting up Raevion Rogers for the first of his two touchdowns. 5 Star didn’t hold back though, with a group effort getting the ball to the 15-yard line, then “Royce” ran it in for a touchdown. The Cougars’ Jamir “Bunchie” Burdine had 8 tackles with 4 for loss. In fact, they stopped running his way because he was so dominant. Coach Ray of the Huskies stated postgame that, “both teams played hard and physical, we just came prepared to go all 4 quarters plus 1, if need be, just teaching these boys to be resilient. The best is yet to come for our team, I believe.”

Benson Bruins 1
253 Spartans 0
Benson won via forfeit.
