NW Premier 9U Scores & Highlights 11-3-21

CD Panthers 41
5 Star Cougars 0
This was total domination by the CD Panthers in their playoff game against 5 Star. From start to finish, CD had a hold over this game. Their offense was clinical and the defense was near perfect. CD looked as good as ever and will look to keep it rolling. In the first quarter the Panthers flexed their offensive muscles. Mo Guerrero and Amari Gambol opened up the scoring for the Panthers. This quick 14 – 0 game was a sign of what was to come from the CD offense. The second quarter was just more of the first, this time with Dant’e and Lando both scoring. CD’s lead going into the half was a great cushion for the Panthers to relax with. But they didn’t let off of the gas one bit. Coming into the second half, the Panthers defense continued to hold strong. Building off of the momentum their defense caused, the offense continued to pour it on. Lando found the back of the endzone two more times to cap off a 41-point shoutout win for CD. “I’m excited, they did a great job,” CD Panthers Coach Terrell Elmore said postgame. “We played hard, we played tough. They deserve to be in the championship. A lot of people left the team after the shooting. But our job was to get them to the championship. Just to give them a chance.”

Benson Bruins 47
Renton Rangers 0
Benson continued its season long dominance over opponents. It was a great team victory, and now the Bruins are focused on closing out the regular season with a championship before focusing on competing for the AYF national title.
