What Are Your Thoughts About The Possibility Of The Supreme Court Overturning Roe v. Wade?

The potential for the Roe v Wade case to be overturned is troubling and I have little confidence the justices are going to keep their political views out of the decision. From what I understand states would have the ability to protect or abolish abortions or become more restrictive. Texas already has one of the most extreme abortion laws in the country. In conclusion, no one should be able to make the decision on whether a woman will carry a child or not. The decision is a deeply emotional and personal one. Aisha

Oooh yeah this is heat. Like all things there are two sides to every coin. I do not believe in abortion. There was a time when I was younger and not knowledgeable about this and what actually happens the fetus. But in this time, I believe all should have an opportunity at life. Kim

As a young generation I am just learning the history and significance of this issue. As a new father I witnessed and understand what a woman goes through during pregnancy and all that goes with it. To just be relegated to witnessing from a man’s perspective, I believe the decision is the womans. It is her body, she takes all the risk, politics has no place in that decision-making. Dorian

I have mixed thoughts on Roe v Wade issue now that I am older. But I feel women should be able to make decisions on their own bodies. However, there is a level of responsibility as well. What about rape? Should a woman be forced to keep a rapist baby? No, in my opinion. The law is very complex so now it is up to the states to decide on abortions. Also, I read in another discussion someone said, “that the privileged are scared of being in the minority, so they want to control and keep white women from having abortions. Vee
