Community Toy Giveaway This Saturday

The Seattle Medium Newspaper Group — in conjunction with Kris Bennett Broadcasting (1420 AM KRIZ, 1560 AM KZIZ, and 1620 AM KZIZ), Safeway and the Central Area Youth Association (CAYA) — will host their annual toy give-away this Sat., Dec. 23 at the CAYA – 119 23rd Ave. E. in Seattle

Toys collected at our annual toy drive held last Saturday will be distributed to youth between the ages of 2 and 12 years old during the give-away. Toys available will include dolls, games, bikes, and more. There will be a limited number of items available for youth over the age of 12. Youth must be present and accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to receive a gift.

“During the holiday season there is nothing like a toy to put a smile on a child’s face,” said Chris H. Bennett, chairman of The Seattle Medium Newspaper Group and the Z-Twins radio stations. “These toys will go a long way in helping to make the holiday season a little brighter for so many kids in our community.’

People can still make donations until 4:00 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 22.
