Information Technology Day

The Black Data Processors Association (BDPA) is holding an Information Technology Day (IT Day) to empower the community on science, technology and education initiatives. IT Day will feature fun activities and workshops for you age five through 18 including encouragement to embrace math, science, and technology, problem solving and analytical skills. IT Day will also provide scholarship opportunities for participants in the PC building contest. In addition, there will be informational workshops for adults to include: a resource center for new and established small business owners and entrepreneurs, a resource port of community programs for youth, networking opportunities, technical training, and more. The event will take place Sat. Feb. 19 at Emerald Cities Outreach Ministries, located at 7728 Rainier Ave S. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free and a continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
