The state patrol does have an open investigation in regards to the officers actions in Nov 2003 in connection with the arrest of N=Mr. Omar Wiley…. Openend feb 25th of this year…. It’s expected to be done sometime in June……This is the first we’ve heard on this allegation of misconduct today… and we We take allegations like this very seriously.. we pride ourself in our relationships with all citizens and take to heart allegations like this very much…We are looking into the allegations and to determine if we need to take futher action..’I don’t really know what the inquiry was about… if it was part of standard protocol… we will look into it and take appropriate action….It could have been something that is We have some concerns about the communication…We take pride in being professional and treating all individuals the same….We don’t have any input into the charging of a person…. In king county you don’t necessary=ily do a citation for criminal charges… and it’s sent to the prosecutors office and they review the circumstances and determine the chare…’If there was a delay in charging.. the reason as wo why should be asked of the prosecutors……Especially in King county it could be related to workload….. 360-239-2216 (cell)
