Larry Gossett To Hold Re-Election Campaign Kickoff May 3

King Count Councilmember Larry Gossett

The Larry Gossett for County Council Re-Election Committee will host his 2019 Re-election campaign kickoff on Fri., May 3 at the Quincy Jones Performing Arts Center located at Garfield High School in Seattle.

This grand affair, billed as a “Inspirational Musical Tribute” to Larry, will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. is open to the community. However, rsvp’s are recommended if you plan to attend.
Gossett, who represents King County Council District Number 2 — which encompasses the Central Area, Capitol Hill, Beacon Hill, the Rainier Valley, Seward Park, UW, Fremont, Ravenna, Laurelhurst and the Skyway neighborhood in unincorporated King County, is a long-time advocate for the underrepresented and underprivileged in King County for his entire career. He is an advocate for programs that help inner-city youth and reduce racial and class disparities in our local criminal justice system.
During his tenure on the Council, Gossett is very proud of the work he has done to support small business development, social justice, equity and inclusion.
