
The Mount Zion Baptist Church Women’s Ministry invites the community to its Intergenerational Power of Prayer Service on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This uplifting evening of prayer, praise, and testimonies will feature Rev. Sherry Tate, Associate Minister at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, as the Messenger.
The service will also showcase performances by Paris Randall, Christian Rap Artist; Qliyah Thomas, Poet; and Chandler Williams, Musician, all coming together to honor and glorify God through their gifts.
The 83rd Women’s Ministry Celebration will culminate on Sunday, March 23, 2025, during the 10:00 AM Worship Service, with a message from Rev. Dr. Gail L. Rice. An anointed preacher, pastor, and psalmist, Rev. Dr. Rice is passionate about helping people discover the joy and fulfillment of knowing and loving Jesus while serving others. She currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Ministry Development at Freedom Baptist Church in Hillside, Illinois, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Craig Melvin Smith.
Following the worship service, a reception will take place immediately after to continue the celebration.

The Women’s Ministry President is Rev. Dr. Julie Vaughn. Sisters Colleen Robinson Walls and Rhonda Staton serve as Celebration Co-Chairs, Rev. Dr. Phyllis R. Beaumonte and Sister Cindy Gibbs are Prayer Service Co-Chairs, and Sisters Emma Cotton and Bonnie Moton are Reception Co-Chairs.
