NW Premier 14U Scores And Highlights 9-19-18

Lakewood LYTE 33
Beacon Hill Cowboys 6
After an unexpected bye last week, the Lakewood L.Y.T.E. 14U were hungry for some football. Quarterback Gabarri Johnson was able to score with his feet and arm by hooking up with receivers Jaylon Jenkins and Tarrell Holmes. Jenkins was also able to add to the score by running back a kick-off. Their tough defense can be credited to Holmes, Trey Meredith, Tedric Hall, and Josiah Aiolupotea-Fisaga just to name a few. L.Y.T.E. entered halftime with Cowboys being able to find the endzone once leaving the score 33-6. Due to Beacon Hill injuries, the game was cut short with Lakewood adding one to the win column. Short handed from the beginning the Cowboys started the game strong with James “Duke” Scott carrying the ball like a runaway train, scoring on a 60 yard run to start the scoring in the game. Then the battle began but Lakewood was the better team this day. Thru the injuries and lack of substitutions the Cowboys worn down and Lakewood did what they had to do.
