Emerald City had a stellar performance against CD in their week 4 matchup. With three touchdowns scored the offense was rolling and was looking for more. CD was able to put a stop to the bleeding but couldn’t put up any points of their own.

Benson had a day against Renton, as they put up 46 unanswered points. Quarterback Terrance Tran had a 5-yard touchdown run, a 64-yard touchdown pass to CJ Vala and a 8 yard touchdown pass to Kaiden Peterson- Leonardo. Kaiden Peterson Leonardo also had a huge 73-yard kick return for a touchdown and a 69-yard touchdown run. CJ Vala kept scoring with 6- and 35-yard touchdown runs. The Benson defense did their job, as Jaylani Shaw had a 22-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Renton put in some good effort, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Benson powerhouse.

5 Star took on the challenging 253 Spartans this weekend. 5 Star quarterback Aryon had a nice quarterback keep adding to their 25-point tally. The Spartans looked to respond but were held to 13 points by a rugged Cougar defense.

Benson played a tough game against Renton this weekend but held on to preserve the shutout. Choice Wilkins, Eli Marshall and Markus Apelu all scored in the win for Benson, and their defense did a great job as well. The Renton attack wasn’t there this weekend, but they’ll be sure to bounce back next game.

The Boys & Girls Club beat the Rainer Ravens in a great 13U battle. The teams seemed to be evenly matched, but the Boys & Girls Club’s offense just couldn’t be slowed down. Rainer will hope to bounce back next week and get back to their winning ways.

This was the Elijah Cameron and Leatuali’I Savini show for the 5 Star Cougars. Cameron had a total of three touchdowns on the day, two on the ground and one passing. Savini did it on both sides of the ball. On defense he had 7 tackles, with 4 huge sacks! On offense he had 132 yards of total offense with three rushing touchdowns.
