O’Dea Claims Metro League Title With 49-7 Win Over Seattle Prep

Freshman running back Jason Brown scored three touchdowns, while teammate Tajj Dyles scored two touchdowns as O’Dea defeated Seattle Prep 49-7 in the Metro League’s championship football game last Friday.

Trailing 7-0 in the first quarter, Brown broke loose on a 49-yard touchdown run to tie the game at 7-7. Brown followed up with another touchdown run as the Fighting Irish went on to score 49 unanswered points and avenge their 15-14 loss to Seattle Prep just two weeks ago.

O’Dea’s K’son Misa added the final trimmings to the win, as he returned an interception 43-yards for a touchdown with 4:35 left in the third quarter.
