The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) is back. Running from Thursday, April 8 to Sunday, April 18, SIFF will be held as a virtual event for the first time.
After last year’s film festival was cancelled as the global pandemic forced lock downs across the country, we are happy to have the opportunity to enjoy the festival from the comfort of our homes.
This year’s programming includes 219 films total with 93 feature-length films from 69 countries and 126 short films. We are especially excited about the African and African-American films lineup. Below are a few of the films that we will be checking out this year. To learn more about SIFF and purchase tickets, go to https://www.siff.net/festival .
Here are some of the titles of notable interest from this year’s festival:
• I’M FINE (Thanks for Asking)
• Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America
• Mother’s Milk
• Fruits of Labor
• All Sorts
• This Is My Desire
• Downstream to Kinshasa
• Faya Dayi
• Captains of Zaatari
