SIFF Movie Preview: Sorry To Bother You

Cassius Green (AKA Cash) played by Lakeith Stanfield (from Atlanta, Crown Heights and Get Out) desperately needs money to pay his rent. After landing a telemarketer job, Cash’s ambitions go beyond earning enough to get by. With a co-worker (played by Danny Glover) offering the career-changing advice to use his “white voice” on calls, Cash embarks on a roller coaster journey to the top and back down again. Writer/Director Boots Riley presents a funny and strange satirical examination of capitalism that takes a dramatic turn in an entirely unexpected direction.
