Paul Bascomb Announces Candidacy for Seattle City Council Position 6 Paul Bascomb has announced his intention to run for Seattle City Council’s Position #6 in this year’s upcoming fall election. Bascomb, a lifelong resident of Seattle and owner of the successful Paul Bascomb & Associates Real Estate company, has also been a long serving community servant and advocate for individual wealth building. Bascomb’s focus as a civil servant is to “Bring back the luster Seattle once enjoyed.” His vision for doing this includes taking on this leadership role in planning for what he calls, taking the “20 year leap.” “Seattle is still a young city with some leaders who are out of step with the kind of progress that will allow us to grow and mature. I want to bring a sense of steady, strategic, and inclusive planning to our City government,” states Bascomb. Having led a successful business career, raising a family of five daughters, being a community supporter and leader in the real estate industry, Bascomb is well positioned to become a confident, effective, and competent leader on Seattle’s City Council.
