WASL Prep Software Is Currently Available For Use At CAYA

In 2008 it will be required for all students to successfully pass the WASL in order to graduate from high school. Statistics show that only 10% of African American students are passing the math portion of the WASL. A child may be a 3.0 GPA student, but it will still be required for him/her to pass the WASL to graduate. Come to CAYA to practice the WASL pre-testing; DON’T WAIT UNTIL 2008 when it will be mandatory. We have vocabulary, language usage, reading biology, writing and math–from 6th grade to trigonometry. The next WASL testing is happening next month on Apr. 18. Your child has a month to get some practice in before Apr. 18. So don’t delay, call CAYA to schedule a time for your child to come in. Our operating hours are Mon-Thurs. 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. We will extend our operating hours to accommodate high enrollment. For more information, contact 206-322-6640. CAYA is located at 119 23rd Ave. in Seattle.
