BGC Seahawks 30
Beacon Hill Cowboys 24
It was a close game between the BGC Seahawks and the Beacon Hill Cowboys. BGC’s Senneca Smith was stellar again this weekend producing four touchdowns to help his team pull out a close win with 40,2,35 and another 40 yarder for touchdowns. The Seahawks’ Darnell Sillers also contributed with a one yarder as the defense held strong keeping the Cowboys out of the end zone for the win. The Cowboys played with grit and determination to keep the game close. It was a good weekend of football.
Benson Bruins 28
Infamous All-Stars 0
The Benson Bruins dominated on both sides of the ball, as they defeated the Infamous Allstars 28-0. Chase Dance scored Benson’s first touchdown. On their second possession, Mesake Ve’e capped off a long drive securing Benson’s second touchdown. The second half started off with a bang as LaRue Manson took the hand off and ran 40 yards for the Bruins third touchdown. Midway through the fourth quarter, Chase Dance rumbled for 40 yards for the Bruins fourth touchdown; and Dance’s second touchdown of the game. By far, the Bruins defense was the games MVP’s, as they sacked the Allstars 4 times, recovered 3 fumbles, and held the Allstars for a total of 7 yards.
Rainier Ravens 19
West Seattle Bengals 6
It was a perfect day for little league football as the Rainier Ravens went up against the West Seattle Bengals. Jayden Hernandez & Mahkai Jackson both had dominant offensive performances. Raevion Rogers had yet another outstanding defensive game making a few key solo tackles. The West Seattle Bengals gave it their all but hadn’t seen a team like the undefeated Rainier Ravens. Yet the competitive nature was still visible.
