National Voter Registration Day is just around the corner on September 22nd. This day is a nationally organized effort to register as many people to vote as possible.
The Seattle King County NAACP will be taking part in National Voter Registration Day by hosting a voter registration community afternoon at the Rainier Beach Safeway.
The NAACP will be giving away masks, raffle prizes for those who stop by the table, have a DJ playing music, have Census workers available to help people fill out their Census questionnaire, and have volunteers available to help register people to vote and answer questions about voter registration in Washington.
This event will take place on Tues., Sept. 22 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Rainier Beach Safeway.
