HEIR 9U 12, CD Panthers 10U 0
Coming off a championship season in Northwest Premier’s 8U division, HEIR 9U continued their winning ways as they opened the season with a big win over the Panthers. This HEIR team, which is known for great defense, showed that they are ready to compete in the 10U division as they were able to keep a very talented CD Panthers out of the endzone. Tayshawn Stephens scored both HEIR touchdowns to secure the victory.
Heir 10U 14, Gridiron 0
In a tight defensive battle, HEIR managed to prevail behind a two touchdown performance by newcomer CJ Ireland. Ireland helped lead the charge as he scored the first touchdown of the game. Gridiron held strong and kept the game tight until the fourth quarter, when Ireland found paydirt again to increase HEIR’s lead to 14-0. HEIR quarterback Jayden Hernandez displayed his throwing ability throughout the game, as he connected with tight end Edell Williams.
Gridiron 9U 48, Benson Bruins 0
Gridiron opened the season with 48 points to secure a big win over the Bruins.
B12 Bearcats 12, Renton Rangers 8
With a back-and-forth battle between the Bearcats and Rangers, B12’s two touchdowns helped pushed them past Renton to secure a four-point victory.
