2025-26 All-Metro League Boys And Girls Basketball Teams

The Metro League has announced its 2025–26 All-League basketball teams, recognizing the top boys and girls players and coaches from both the Mountain and Sound divisions. The awards follow a competitive season highlighted by dominant team performances and breakout individual achievements across all classifications.

Mountain Division – Boys

Rainier Beach completed an undefeated league season at 14–0, with a staggering +34.2 point differential, and was rewarded with multiple top honors. Tyran Stokes was named Most Valuable Player, and teammate JJ Crawford earned first-team recognition. Micah Illi-Meneese was named to the second team, giving Rainier Beach three total selections.

Eastside Catholic also had a strong showing, finishing third in the standings and placing three players on all-league teams: Yabi Aklog and Tytan McNeal on the first team, and Steven Sun on the second team. McNeal was additionally named Defensive Player of the Year.

O’Dea, which finished 12–2 in league play, placed Brian Webster on the first team and Josiah Bowman on the second team. Head coach Jason Kerr was named Coach of the Year.

Seattle Prep earned two all-league honors with Nico Christofilis making the first team and Kellen Matt the second. The Sportsmanship Award for the division went to Bishop Blanchet.

Mountain Division – Girls

Roosevelt led the league with a 13–1 record and a dominant +25.0 point differential. Giselle Dollar earned MVP honors after leading the Roughriders to the top of the standings. Teammates Ellery Burke-Brown and Emma Curtis also made first and second teams respectively. Head coach Aaliyah Wilson was named Coach of the Year.

Eastside Catholic, which finished 11–3 in league play, placed Amy Nduka on the first team. Nduka also received Defensive Player of the Year honors. Lakeside had a trio of players honored: Helena Christofilis (first team), Lili Brown (second), and a strong team finish at 9–5.

Seattle Prep and Bishop Blanchet each earned multiple selections as well. Brooke Campbell represented Blanchet on the first team, while Seattle Prep had Kylin Kinchen and Addy Jack named to the second team. Lincoln received the Sportsmanship Award.

Sound Division – Boys

Seattle Academy topped the Sound Division with a 14–2 league record, backed by a +13.3 point differential. The Cardinals placed three players on the all-league teams: Zane Zilliax (first team), Jaden Arriaga (second), and Malachi Dickey (second). Head coach Ryan Webb was named Coach of the Year.

Franklin’s Christian Fisher earned first-team honors and was also named Defensive Player of the Year. Teammate Khamille Chappell earned first-team honors in the girls division, giving Franklin dual defensive and offensive impact across programs.

Lakeside’s Quentin Mosby was named MVP after leading the Lions to an 11–5 league finish. Ballard also saw two players earn spots: Gavin Klassen-Matuska (first team) and Nolan Larson (second team). Cleveland was honored with the Sportsmanship Award.

Sound Division – Girls

Seattle Academy dominated the girls’ Sound Division with a perfect 15–0 record and a +23.6 point differential. Kyli Meyer of Ballard was named MVP after helping her team finish second at 13–2. Seattle Academy’s depth showed in the awards, with first-team selections for Calla Nelson and Eva Engskov, and Defensive Player of the Year going to Isley Whitehead. Head coach Taylor Mulberg was named Coach of the Year.

Franklin’s Khamille Chappell joined the first team, and teammate Akeelah Sanh earned second-team honors. Nathan Hale’s Zia-Daye Anderson earned a first-team spot, while Holy Names’ Lexi Rac was recognized on the second team.

The Sportsmanship Award for the division went to Rainier Beach.
