West Seattle dominated Lincoln (Seattle) in a 54-14 victory, scoring 21 points in the first quarter, 12 in the second, seven in the third and 14 in the fourth, while Lincoln scored all 14 of its points in the fourth quarter. West Seattle quarterback Carlos Patino led the offense, completing 22 of 27 passes for 388 yards and seven touchdowns. Running back Dylan Seaborn-Diaz added 34 rushing yards on four carries, while wide receiver Grady Scheff recorded 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns on three receptions.
Lakeside (Seattle) 20,
Ingraham 0
Lakeside High School earned a 20-0 shutout victory over Ingraham, scoring six points in the first quarter, eight in the second and six in the third while holding the Rams scoreless throughout the game. Lakeside’s defense effectively shut down Ingraham’s high-powered running game and kept the Rams from finding the end zone. Rafa Dachary led Ingraham’s defense with two sacks. Following the loss, Ingraham head coach Louis Torres said the team will regroup and turn its attention to a tough Week 4 matchup against Garfield.
Rainier Beach 25,
Seattle Prep 23
Rainier Beach edged Seattle Prep, 25-23, in a close matchup led by quarterback Esquire Williams, who completed 19 of 29 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns. Damari Ae Barrington added 47 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, while Quis Tovia led the receiving corps with 94 yards and a touchdown on four receptions.
