Central Area Senior Center To Host Coronavirus Screening And Testing Event At First A.M.E. Church

The Central Area Senior Center (CASC), in partnership with Swedish Hospital and First A.M.E. Church (FAME), will host a Coronavirus screening and testing event for vulnerable seniors this Fri., Apr. 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at FAME – 1522 14th Avenue in Seattle.

Testing, administered by Swedish Hospital, will be by appointment only. Testing is not guaranteed for all.  Due to the limited number of available testing units, participants must pass Swedish screening to receive a nasal swab test.  All people in vehicle will not be screened and tested.  Only the participant with an appointment will be screened for testing.  If the participant tests positive and lives with others it is presumed that all are positive and should shelter in place.

All participants will sign a ROI (Release of Information) giving permission for you to have and share results with them.

For more information or to register, call CASC at (206) 726-4926.
