Author Abraham Verghese To Discuss New Book At The Seattle Public Library

Seattle Public Library welcomes writer Abraham Verghese as he presents his long-awaited new novel “The Covenant of Water” on Tuesday, June 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Central Library, Level 1 – Microsoft Auditorium.

“The Covenant of Water”, which is  set in Kerala, on South India’s Malabar Coast, follows three generations of a family that suffers a peculiar affliction: in every generation, at least one person dies by drowning — and in Kerala, water is everywhere.

Registration is required for most events unless otherwise noted. All Library events are free and open to the public.
