Author Matt Baume To Discuss New Book At The Seattle Public Library

The Seattle Public Library will welcome Matt Baume as he presents his new book “Hi Honey, I’m Homo!” on Thursday, June 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Central Library, Level 1 – Microsoft Auditorium.

Using clips from classic TV shows, vintage news broadcasts, and excerpts from the new book, we’ll explore a surprising evolution across decades of iconic primetime sitcoms, and reveal the behind-the-scenes struggles to put queer people on the air with humor and humanity.

Registration is required for most events unless otherwise noted. All Library events are free and open to the public.

For additional events, please visit www.spl.org/Calendar. To seek assistance, you can contact the Library’s Ask Us service via phone at 206-386-4636 or through email or chat at www.spl.org/Ask.
