“Financing for reparation, we can cut down on the budgets for wars, all those wars are kind of useless they only hurt people, so we can definitely use that money for some good, like to erase some of the long, systematic trauma that we have been facing as a people, for sure.”

“I believe that the money should come from the country that my ancestors built and still continue to contribute to. We are still very active and positively contributing citizens to this country even though in the past we were forced to be a part of building this society. So I think that America should give back to what we’ve paid in. Or the UN, the UN has made decisions on giving reparations to other peopled groups, the Japanese, the Jewish community of course. Reparations can in many forms but the monetary will nice as well, but schooling, food, I mean all kind of ways repay the people.”

“I think the monies for reparation for the African American probably should come from the government cause we are paying taxes it’s exhausting. But I think truly the government should some money and again I don’t think you can send everybody a check, but hey, invest somewhere businesses, the black economy, HBCUs, the bigger, larger Black foundations and institution that we have.
Jalen’e…
“I think that the reparations would have to be coming straight from the government.”
Emiel Mulligan…
“I believe that money for the descendants of slaves should come from corporations or the larger companies. Money from anyone who wants to get involved, anyone who wants to help people out who have struggled throughout their lives, something that everybody needs at least once in the lives is to be helped out.”
