Have Black Women Taken Over The Leadership Role In Our Community?

Mr. Anonymous…

I feel that the Black women has not taken over in our communities, because a lack of a knowledge. We as men are supposed to lead because God has put us in that position and if the men are not leading and the woman doesn’t know the leadership role either it causes chaos and that is what’s going on in communities now.  We have chaos because no one knows their roles.

Tamesha…
I do think Black women have taken over the leadership roles. There are a lot of stronger women now that take on a lot. They work, they go home, they cook and they clean and raise kids. I feel like Black women are the strongest in leadership roles.

Jacarae…
Definitely, but it’s not just us Black women, it’s muslim, White, Hispanic, Asian, definitely because all women have different things to offer.

Theodore Elliott…
I believe that Black women have taken over the leadership in the community for the simple reason that [they] have a perception of the Black man as being strong and so they would rather a female, whom they perceive to be weak, have more power than the male to keep the Black man down and that’s my answer.

Mr. Street…
The Black women as always been a part of our leadership, the Black woman is beautiful, the Black woman is responsible. The Black woman loves the black man and the community. The Black woman cares about the community and we need to come together, rebuild our community and care for our children, Amen.

Christopher Daisy…
I believe that all females should be in leadership roles more. I believe that’s what we’re headed for in this day and time. We have a lot of brothers that have fallen by the waste side and that is my opinion. I believe that all women should step up.
