Seattle YMCA Celebrates Healthy Kids Day With Free Public Event
The YMCA of Greater Seattle is set to host its annual Healthy Kids Day This Sat., April 20, starting at 10 a.m. This free event, aimed at giving children and families a healthy start to summer, will be held across 12 locations throughout Greater Seattle.
City Of Seattle Reaches $180,000 Settlement With Dollar Tree For Alleged Labor Violations
The Seattle Office of Labor Standards (OLS) announced a $180,000 settlement with Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. following an investigation into alleged breaches of city labor laws. The settlement includes payments totaling $180,266 to 301 employees and an additional $6,230.88 to the City of Seattle.
Tacoma City Council Seeking Applicants For The Planning Commission
The Tacoma City Council is currently seeking applicants to fill positions on the Planning Commission for Districts 2, 3 and 5. Applicants seeking a district position must reside in that district. Appointees will serve a three-year term from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027.
