Washington was the host for one of the fiercest rivalries in the PAC-12 conference as the Ducks of Oregon traveled from Eugene ranked 4th in the College Football Playoff poll and looking to add to their resume.

On a beautiful Halloween afternoon in Seattle, the Seahawks would face off with the Jacksonville Jaguars in a game that would end any playoff aspirations if they couldn’t find a way to win.

The Seattle Seahawks got it on under the lights for a primetime Monday Night Football match up against the New Orleans Saints.

Cal running back Damien Moore was met by Husky linebacker Jackson Sirmon and sophomore defensive back Cameron Williams jarring the ball loose and recovered by the Husky defense to seal the win for Washington over Cal 31-24 in overtime.

The Seattle Seahawks, coming off a road win over the Indianapolis Colts in week one, were in front of the 12s for the first time in a regular season game in over a year as they hosted the Tennessee Titans Sunday at Lumen Field. With the covid pandemic still a concern nationwide, strict vaccination protocols were put in place to ensure fans of a safe experience as they return to in-person football action.

Washington wasn’t done racking up the passing yards in the fourth quarter. A 12-yard run by Cameron Davis set up the play action and Morris found Terrell Bynum for a 42-yard touchdown pass for his third touchdown pass of the day, giving the Huskies a big 42-3 lead. Morris would leave the game with 367 yards passing in favor of freshman quarterback Sam Huard who took his first snap as a Husky.

The 20th ranked University of Washington Huskies dropped their 2021 season opener to Montana, 13-7 at Husky Stadium.

"I just think that representation and visibility are so important," he said. "I actually hope that one day videos like this and the whole coming out process are just not necessary. But until then, I'm going to do my best and do my part to cultivate a culture that's accepting, that's compassionate."
