Cheikh Sadio Sadibou Faty born May 14, 1959 in Ziquinchor, Senegal, passed away Nov 6, 2008, at the age of 49. He honorably served in the Senegalese Army and Navy and came to the US in 1991, settling in Seattle in 1992.Sadio, as he was lovingly known, leaves behind his beloved wife, Martha Branham-Faty, and their children Khady, Sadio Jr., and Marvine, his brothers, Keba, Bassirou, Sana, Cheikh Sylla, and his sisters, Fatou, Awa, Mariama, Djogny and Sarata. His father and mother, Malang Faty and Madia Konte, brothers Amadou and Kalifa, and his sisters, Adama and Soucouta, preceded Sadio in death.The memorial service will be held, Nov 17th at 4 p.m., St. Therese Church, 3416 E Marion, Seattle, WA. The Muslim prayer service is scheduled for Nov 18th at Bonney-Watson, please call and confirm the time at (206) 322-0013. His final resting place will be Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
