City Of Renton Seeks Candidates For Senior Advisory Board 

The City of Renton is seeking candidates to serve on the Senior Advisory Board. 

The board acts in an advisory capacity to parks and recreation staff, mayor, and city council on matters of particular interest to seniors in the Renton community. 

Seniors who represent the diverse nature of the city, including ethnicity, geography, and gender, are encouraged to apply. Applicants are interviewed by members of the existing advisory board and appointed by the mayor.

Members serve without compensation and must be able to attend meetings via Zoom on the first Monday of the month at 3:30 p.m. 

To apply, download or complete an application from the city’s website or call 425-430-6632 to have one mailed. Applications are also available at Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave. N. 

Completed applications should be returned to Sean Claggett at the Sean Claggett or mailed to the City of Renton, Mayor’s Office, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on May 2, 2022.
