“Instead of listening to each other, it is always a battle between who is right and who is wrong. From my view, I think, as a country, we are not really trying to find a solution and are more so just trying to see who is the bigger person or who is right in this situation. We are causing more harm, and we are attacking one another when we should be coming together.”

“I don’t think that we should be in conflict with Iran. I don’t think that it is our position to step in, but I mean, I guess we have already done it, so what now?”

“It already kind of seems like it has started. They are already bombing, but it is not declared an official war with the United States. I don’t know what to consider it. I don’t think that it should be happening, but I am more for the U.S.”

“I try to stay out of it, but I don’t agree with it. I hate hearing about all the bad things going on in the world because I just love to love people, and some people don’t love to love, and that is what a war is.”

“I don’t know, it seems the whole world is in chaos. I don’t like how the government flip-flops. One day the president says, ‘he doesn’t want war,’ only to start one. What I do feel bad for is the people caught in the middle. The innocence lost.”

“I don’t really think about it. Regardless, it really has nothing to do with our community, except maybe higher gas prices. But global conflicts rarely affect the African American community, unless you are in the military.”
