Last Saturday many followers and families of Life Enrichment Group celebrated the ninth annual Dine for education gala.
The purpose of the gala is to help fundraise for the ninth annual East Coast college tour for Life Enrichment Group youth.
The program was produced and executed by the students that make up Life Enrichment Group (LEG). The evening was filled with greetings from students that are currently in the program. Alumni Kyle D. Mathews and Tanisa Scott hosted Dine for education.
The program highlighted the cohort of 20. They were all proud to tell their story about what this tour means to them. One student passionately expressed his gratitude about being able to visit Howard, and how grateful he is for leaders like Monika Mathews, founder of the Life Enrichment Group.
The room was filled with parents, educators, policy makers and community leaders that were grateful to be there and they supported the mission.
Mathews has been a leader in the Seattle community developing youth for over 16 years through Life Enrichment Group Programs.
Mathews founded Life Enrichment Group with community in mind, 16 years later she is still leading and paving the way with youth development.
This Women’s History Month we salute you Monika Mathews.
