Ballard Beavers defeated Garfield Bulldogs 29-6 in a Metro League matchup. Ballard’s defense was key to their victory, intercepting two passes and recovering a fumble. Ballard’s offense was led by quarterback Dylan Wallblom and running back Oliver Broadgate, who combined for a touchdown and a field goal. Garfield’s offense struggled, turning the ball over on downs twice and fumbling twice. Ballard coach Malik Prince was pleased with his team’s performance but acknowledged there was still work to be done.
