Eastside Catholic upset Garfield, the No. 4 seed, to win the 2025 Metro League championship, 52-47. Sophie Lugolobi led all scorers with 21 points, while Tatum Carter finished the game with 15 points, and Amy Nduka finished the night with eight points and 11 rebounds to lead the Crusaders. Garfield was led by Jayda Lewis and Lena Most, who both finished the night with 13 points.

The No. 7 seed Foster Bulldogs upset Chief Sealth, 61-54, sending Chief Sealth, the No. 2 seed, to the loser’s bracket, where they will take on the No. 6 seed, Lindbergh.

Seattle Prep defeated Holy Names in a loser-out game on February 15, as the Panthers advanced to take on the No. 2 seed, Liberty (Renton).

The Lakeside Lady Lions knocked Bishop Blanchet out of the playoffs in the first round of the district tournament. Lakeside outscored Blanchet 40-14 in the first half and will advance to the next round, where they will take on Bellevue.
Cedarcrest 36, Nathan Hale 22
Cedarcrest defeated Nathan Hale, 36-22, sending the Raiders to the loser’s bracket, where they will face Cleveland in a loser-out game. Nathan Hale was led by Opal Wilson, who had 7 points and 9 rebounds.
Roosevelt 48, Inglemoor 34
Roosevelt started off strong, outscoring Inglemoor 17-5 in the first quarter, and never looked back as they advanced to the next round of the playoffs.
