The Rangers do it again topping 50 points for the second time in as many games. The game started and ended with Renton’s dominating defense, led by co-captain Ray “Sticky Clark who had a strip sack on the first play of the game. Clark capped off a 10 tackle, 3 sack game with a 50-yard scamper. Renton quarterback Micah Meneese had a 45-yard run and a pretty 65-yard touchdown pass to Jaden Arnold. Despite all that action the most exciting play came from Renton co-captain Deonte Meneese had a 50-yard touchdown run that came with two nasty stiff arms along the way. Jordan Noel had 7 tackles on the day along with a forced fumble and touchdown as well. It was a team effort as other Rangers found the end zone on this day. A great performance from a great group of kids!

CD’s Rassan “RIP” Thomas had a 65-yard run, while QB Johnny Rogers rushed for 2 touchdowns. Kash Lexing and Rayshaun Johnson also found their way to paydirt as the Panther’s remain undefeated going into next week’s game against the Renton Rangers.

The Seattle Jr Seahawks game to play this weekend as they put the Renton Rangers to rest with a 34 to 6 romp. The Seahawks performance was a total team effort, as the offense rolled putting points on boards and the defense was stifling holding the Rangers to only 6 points in the contest.

Uriah Given and Alvin “AJ” Hollis found the red zone again this weekend to keep the Panthers on top of the division. Pacific Highway’s Isendre “Papa” Ahfue added a touchdown to get the Chargers on the scoreboard.

Some called it the game of the week between Renton Rangers vs Seattle Junior Seahawks 89ers this past Saturday at Renton Stadium final game of the day.Early in the 1st Quarter on the Seahawks first drive while going into the end zone the Rangers defense came up big on a fumble recovery on and took over on the 1 yard line. Two play’s later the Seahawks tackled Renton’s quarterback in the end zone for a safety and the games first points. Then the Seahawk’s Jermarion Taylor went off the right side 40 yards for a touchdown. Later in the 2nd quarter the Seahawk’s Donovan Bam Gill connects on a 64-yard pass play splitting two defenders to DaKari “Primetime” Bolten on a 65 yard touchdown catch, and Cash Stewart ran it in thereafter. With 24 seconds on the clock before halftime Sam Taylor scored on a 60 yard touchdown run as time expired. Later in the 3rd quarter Bam Gill connected on a 20-yard pass to Jaylen Petty for another Jr. Seahawks touchdown. Finally early in the 4th Jarmarion Taylor goes rambling for another score from 44 yards out. The Renton Rangers juniors were led this week by Myles Damon with 12 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback De’Shaun Watkins was 7-16 and threw for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns. They got help from Steven Le who had 3 catches for 28 yards and 2 touchdowns, also big Dallas Afalava had 8 tackles.

In a tested battle Marquawn McCraney of the Puget Sound Lancers ran for 72 yards while adding 5 tackles, including two tackloes for a loss. The Lancers’ Troy Hudson was a force on defense with 8 tackles, 3 for loss of yards, while Malika Rice had 2 tackles on forcing a safety. Micah Banuelos added 4 tackles for loss yardage. Siaosi Iosefa had a receiving touchdown of 3 yards and 4 defensive tackles.

The Panthers’ Juvan “J-Money” Williams-Moss ran a 70 yard kickoff return and added a touchdown to his resume. Ronnie “Lil Wayne” made his presence known as well giving the Panthers a home opening victory.

Renton seniors get their first win of the season. DeShon Robertson had a big game with 3 touchdowns. The Raangers also got contributions from Vatrevyon Garner with 2 touchdowns and Amir Moore cashed in on 1 touchdown.

Jabez Tinae ran for four touchdowns and 118 yards rushing and passed for 1 touchdown as the Lancers got a huge win over the Cowboys. Marcus McCraney ran for 38 yards and had 2 extra points and ended the game with 78-yard pick six score. Malakai Asoau also had a big day for the Lancers rushing for 63 yards and racking up seven tackles, while teammate Jacques Charles had one receiving touchdown for 25 yards.
