In the second quarter Jaedin Stowers took a reverse 35 yards to the house, SWAC Cougars quarterback Jacai Clardy answered back with 10 yard bootleg for a touchdown bringing the game to a 12-6 score. The Rangers JoJo Matautia recovered a fumble and from there Jaedin Stower took a handoff 52 yards to the end zone to seal the win for Renton. JoJo Matautia led his team in tackles to go along with a sack and two fumble recoveries. Keyonte Kendrick and Dondrey Whitted Jr. also had several tackles.
