Heir 30, Benson Bruins 0
Remaining undefeated and seeded first throughout the season, Heir ran up against a Benson Bruin team who upset the Heir 11U team, which was previously undefeated, to earn a spot in the championship game of the Northwest Premier Junior Football League’s 12U division.
Only allowing 6 points all season, Heir put their defensive on display with the championship trophy waiting to be hoisted, as their defense held the Bruins scoreless for the first time this season.
Offensively, Heir was led by Briytan Bailey, who was named the championship game’s most valuable player, quarterback Brennan Abbott, and Jayce Halaz as they posted an impressive 30-0 victory over Benson.
