WYFL 6U Scores And Highlights (9-24-25)

Benson Bruins 13, CD Panthers 0

Benson’s young stars played well this week with explosive plays on both sides of the ball. Jayden “2WayJay” Long proved his nickname once again, breaking loose for 80 rushing yards on just six carries, including a 60-yard touchdown sprint. He also added five tackles on defense, showing off his all-around game. Nasir “TikTok” Bosley was equally electric, posting 60 yards on just two carries with a 40-yard touchdown run, along with five tackles of his own.

Keanu “Crash” Pelenato anchored the defense with a dominant eight tackles, three of them for a loss, while Jackson “BigJack” Massey made his presence felt in the trenches with four tackles and two behind the line of scrimmage. Demarion “Papa” Brackins rounded out the defensive effort with three tackles and a key sack to help seal the game.

The CD Panthers 6U squad displayed heart and determination in their matchup against longtime rivals, the Benson Bruins. Despite the final score being 13-0 in favor of the Bruins, the game told a much different story.

The young Panthers fought hard on both sides of the ball, moving with energy and confidence throughout the contest. However, penalties proved costly, erasing three potential touchdowns that could have dramatically changed the outcome. What could have been a nail-biter slipped away, leaving the Panthers hungry for redemption.

While the scoreboard didn’t reflect their effort, the team’s resilience and potential were clear. This rivalry is far from over, and fans can look forward to another heated battle when these two squads meet again later this season.
