Kicker Aidan Streidl hit two clutch field goals from 38 and 45 yards, and quarterback Connor Ward connected with tight end Anub Zekaryas for a 16-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to lead the Lions to a big win over Ingraham. On defense, Lakeside’s Kurt Esteban-Mejia led the way with 8 solo tackles to lead the Lions’ stingy defensive effort.

West Seattle 17, Chief Sealth 10

West Seattle quarterback Desmond Parkinson completed 19 0f 26 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown, while running back Jesse Hansen-Wilson had 22 carries for 59 yards and one touchdown to lead the Wildcats to a 17-10 victory over their crosstown rivals in the annual Huling Bowl. West Seattle’s LJ Moody also had a big game with 12 receptions for 97 yards and one touchdown, as he racked up 109 all-purpose yards in the game.

Defensively, the Wildcats’ Miles Guidry and Ford Fitters both recorded 6 tackles, and one tackle for loss, while Justice Nguyen recorded 5 tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery to help lead West Seattle.

Chief Sealth kicker Ogi Petronijevic closed out the scoring with a 52-yard field goal as time expired.

Lincoln 17, Franklin 6

Lincoln held Franklin to just 132 total yards, as they posted a big win over the Quakers. Franklin’s Steven Mpila led the Quakers defense with 11 tackles, while Corde Frazier forced a fumble and had one interception to help lead Franklin on defense.

O’Dea 39, Seattle Prep 14

After getting off to a shaky start, O’Dea scored 39 unanswered points and walked away with an impressive victory over Seattle Prep.

Eastside Catholic 1, Garfield 0

Forfeit – Due to injuries, the Garfield Bulldogs were forced to forfeit this game, as they do not have enough players to safely field a varsity squad this week.
