Meet The 6-Year-Old Who Is A Certified Professional Farmer
Kendall Rae Johnson, a 6-year-old born and raised in Atlanta, spends most of her time planting fruits and vegetables in her family’s backyard urban farm. She also happens to be the youngest certified farmer in the state of Georgia.
The Pacific Northwest will honor Dr. Quintard Taylor Jr., a pioneering historian and founder of BlackPast.org, at a Celebration of Life and Black History in Kent this Saturday. LaNesha McCoy, Executive Director of BlackPast.org, will reflect on Dr. Taylor's enduring legacy and visionary contributions.
