Jalon Ellis scored 14 points, while teammates Paolo Banchero and John Christofilis both chipped in 10 points as the Irish remained undefeated in Metro League play. West Seattle was led by Sage Nelson’s 15 points.

Garfield 70, Blanchet 46
Kendall Munson scored 19 points, while teammate Tari Eason chipped in 14 points to help lead the Bulldogs to a 70-46 victory of the Braves. The Bulldogs also got 13 points from Koren Johnson and 11 points from Jaylin Stewart, while Blanchet was led by Matt Martin (19 points) and Griffin Knowles (14 points).

Eastside Catholic 88, Nathan Hale 54
Marcus Collins and Louis Grant Halliday both scored 14 points for Nathan Hale, as the Raiders fell to Eastside Catholic 88-54. Halliday also recorded 8 rebounds in the game, while teammate Aaron Von Bruck finished the game with 7 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.

Rainier Beach 65, Roosevelt 62
Roosevelt’s Connor Mirick had 21 points and 10 rebounds in a three-point loss to the Vikings.

Lakeside 59, Cleveland 57
Trailing 26-42 the Lions went on an 11-2 run to close out the third quarter to pull within 7 points at 37-44. Lakeside rallied down the stretch to pull off a tough win against the Eagles. The Lions’ Brenden Chan, who scored 10 points in the game, was instrumental in the come-from-behind win.

Seattle Prep 66, Ballard 43
Seattle Prep had three players in double figures, including a 21 point performance from Chike Ezeonu.

Bainbridge Island 60, Franklin 43
Franklin’s Visal Vorn scored 11 points, while Tariek Harris had 9 points and Jamari Jackson had 6 points to lead the Quakers.

Ingraham 68, Blanchet 62
Ingraham’s Latrell Jones made 10 of 11 shots as he scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Rams. Blanchet’s Matt Martin scored 21 points, while his teammate Jarek Woodward chipped in 19 points to lead the Braves.

Nathan Hale 73, Roosevelt 67
Roosevelt’s Julian Swanson scored 16 points and 9 rebounds, while Connor Mirick chipped in 15 points and Noah Kuizon scored 13 points to lead the Roughriders.

Seattle Prep 53, Bain. 37
Seattle Prep continued their winning ways with a 53-37 win over Bainbridge. During the Christmas break, Prep also brought home the title from the Mission Prep Christmas Classic.

Eastside Catholic 77, Franklin 61
Isaac Ticeson scored 19 points while teammates Chika Nduka chipped in 17 points and Shane Nowell had 13 points to lead the Crusaders. Franklin was led by Tariek Harris, who scored a game-high 29 points. Earl Riley chipped in 10 points and Emmanuel Brannon had 6 points for the Quakers.
