Skyline 44, Blanchet 7

Things did not go so well for the visiting Braves as they suffered a 44-7 loss to Skyline. Trailing 16-0 in the second quarter, the Braves’ Kade Bergman caught a touchdown pass as they trimmed the lead to 16-7. However, with under four minutes left in the half, Skyline scored on a 50-yard touchdown pass from Joaquin Valdez to Beck Walker, which they followed with a 90-yard touchdown pass as the Spartans walked into the half with a commanding 30-7 lead. In the second half, Walker would score on a 36-yard run, and Valdez would throw another touchdown to round out the scoring.

Lincoln 42, Ingraham 6

The Lynx scored 35 first half points and never looked back as they improved to 2-0 on the young season.

Ballard 29, Franklin 0

Franklin played a good game, but it wasn’t enough as the fell to Ballard 29-0. On defense, Franklin was opportunistic forcing the Beavers to turn the ball over on downs three times and recording an interception. Ballard’s Jalen Edwards scored the games final points as he caught a touchdown pass early in the third quarter.

Seattle Prep 28, Mt. Baker 22

Seattle Prep held a 21-0 lead going into the fourth quarter, and had to hold off the Mountaineers to claim their third win of the season.
