The recently launched Regence Foundation recently announced that Mike Alexander will serve as chair of its board of directors. In this capacity, Alexander will oversee the Foundation’s work to transform health care and build healthier communities.
Alexander has served as vice president of account management at Regence since 2005. Earlier in his career, Alexander was the vice president of corporate public involvement for Aetna and executive director of the Aetna Foundation, where he helped create the Arthur Ashe Voice of Conscience award. He also serves on the United Way of Columbia-Willamette campaign cabinet and is a member of the American Leadership Forum, Oregon chapter. He received his bachelor’s degree from Lewis University in Illinois, and has a masters degree in social services from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.
