“For me personally his dream is still relevant, some of it and then there is other part of it where people have moved on, like the equal equality and the equal rights for everybody. There is so much in the world that has happened, like you can see in different parts of the world inequality is still going on and no one is doing anything about it. Like the police they are still involved in inequality, certain neighborhoods where that should be a safe place because everyone lives there. Like I said half the world has moved passed and then there’s the other half that has not.”

“I think Martin Luther King’s dream is still relevant today. Something we can look back on as a piece of history, but we’ve also moved passed it with the way society is moving today with the way technology is today.”

“I think Martin Luther King’s dream is still alive. I work in the school system and we are still trying to fight for rights for Brown and Black students and I think it is still relevant because there are still some disparities in the school system and we are still working on these disparities.”

“So I think MLK dream is a work in progress. We are still not there. I see a lot of improvement, it is not the same as the 1960s. Society has changed, Black Americans are taking advantage of education, politics, careers. I feel like we are working towards it but we are not there yet.”
Julian…
“It is a double edged sword. On one side there have been significant changes in society in regards to race relations and human rights, but on the other side there is still a group of people who continue to clings to archaic ways of thought that is holding back the progress that could be made.”
