This game was history in the making, as it marked the first little league football game played at Seattle’s Memorial Stadium in 32 years. The Chiefs jumped out to an early 6-0 lead as Savionte Edgecombe broke loose on a 50-yard touchdown run. Junior Seahawks coach DeAndre Gill rallied his troops, as he told them to “remain calm, stay focused, we have a whole game to play.” Inspired by his coach, Cole “World” Reynolds scored on a 35-yard scamper, as the Seahawks went on to post 38 unanswered points to bring home the victory. Nahmier Robinson had a pair of amazing touchdowns, including a 55 yard touchdown where he turned on the burners down the sideline. Robinson’s other touchdown was a 44 yard run in similar fashion. “Big” Michael Watkins played the like the next coming of Ray Lewis on defense, as he finished the game with 14 tackles, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. Camari Halee was also solid on defense for the Seahawks and saftey “Highlight” Mike Henderson had a beautiful interception.

The Emerald City Seahawks quickly put last Sunday’s heartbreaking loss behind them as they raced out to an early 21-0 first quarter lead, and cruised to a 42-6 victory over Auburn. Emerald City’s Tavionne Ervin set the tone early as he raced 60 yards down the sideline for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage. Ervin finished the day with 10 carries for 150 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns. James “Jaheem” McCants, Myshawn Hillard, Gary Johnson, and Kyrie Miller also scored touchdowns for the Seahawks.
