Northwest Premier Junior Football League 14U Championship Game

In the 14U Championship, the Benson Bruins took on the Puget Sound Lancers. This game started off with some solid offense by both teams. Both teams had strong offensive drives before the Benson Bruins broke free and Scottre Humphrey scored from a yard out for the first score of the game.

After a second quarter filled with penalties and stagnant offense, the Lancers came out in the 3rd quarter and scored a touchdown in less than a minute to make the game 7-6 after the missed extra point. After a 35-yard touchdown run by Caleb Presley the Lancers were up 13-7.

Going into the fourth quarter, the Lancers had firm control of this championship game and with 5:15 left all they had to do was run the clock. Caleb Presley ended the game with a pick six after the offense turned it over on downs. Final Score: Benson 7, Lancers 19
