HEIR EVEN (10U) 26, Tac City Bolts 0
HEIR 10U had an overpowering day against the Tac City Bolts. The Heir defense, led by linebackers Julian Carey, Reno Verde, and Joseph Kennerly, shutout the Bolts as they would fill the gaps and cause major pressure on the opposing quarterback.
HEIR’s offensive line led by Jack Manz, Anthony Tuihalamaka, Jayden Dickerson, Mekhai Crawford, Issac, Shaquille Hewitt Jr. cleared the lanes for running backs Joseph Kennerly and Kingston Bates to have a successful day scoring the football as they would go on to win 26-0.
Benson Bruins 44, Parkland 0
The 10U Benson Bruins put on a show against the Parkland Raiders 10U. Miles Dequier scored a 3-yard touchdown, while teammate Chunky Taamu scored on a 40-yard touchdown run. Jayden Mendoza threw a 20-yard touchdown to Peyton Taito, and connected with Savion Brown on a 25-yard touchdown.
Taito would tip a pass that was intercepted by Jayden Mendoza for a pick 6. Jr. Falefia also rushed for a 30-yard touchdown, while Kicker Ryan would finish 4/5 of PAT, as they would go onto win 44-0.
Parkland played their hearts out and they came into the game ready to compete but came up short this week.
CD Panthers 32, C2C Rams 0
The CD Panthers secured their first win in a well-rounded team performance against the C2C Rams. Touchdowns were scored by Cortez Foster, Derrick Whitner, Kendrick Chappell, and LJ Castillo. Dhani Newton also recorded a Pick 6 along with an interception made by Gabriel Hinds.
